T.E. Swate is a physician attorney that represents medical students, nurses, and physicians focusing on licensure and license defense.  He has successful experience in NBMLE (National Board of Medical Licensure Examiners) “irregular behavior” defense and appeals of findings of NBMLE “irregular behavior” adverse decisions.  Swate has successfully sued the Texas Medical Board (TMB) for Fourth Amendment U.S. Constitution violation involving the use of a TMB subpoena.  He has represented physicians and nurses before their respective boards for standard of care issues.  He has successfully concluded cases at Texas Medical Board Informal Settlement Conferences (ISC) as well as at post-ISC mediation.  He is experienced at defending the medical professional at the Texas State Office of Administrative Appeal (SOAH), Texas District Court, Texas Appellate Courts and Federal District Courts.  Swate has successfully defended physicians accused of malpractice. Income tax issues, and medicare fraud.
