Another Victory for Bob Bennett and the Bennett
Law Firm – $3.2 Million settlement with Yamaha

Bob Bennett of the Bennett Law Firm today announced the settlement
of a highly publicized lawsuit that exposed the dangerous defect in the
steering system of the 1994 Yamaha Timberwolf and similar four-wheel
all-terrain vehicles designed by the Japanese manufacture.
Jacob
Rohrer, a minor at the time, was paralyzed from the waist down after the
steering system failed on the defective ATV and the front tires of the vehicle
turned outward causing the vehicle to flip, catapulting Rohrer from the
defective ATV. The incident resulted in severe spinal injuries, as a result of
which, Rohrer suffered permanent paralysis from the waist down.
This
settlement will help compensate Rohrer for his life-long injuries resulting
for the defective ATV, but it also marks one more victory for consumers in
holding manufacturers accountable for what they sell to the American public
and to ensure that children are protected.
Rohrer’s attorney, Bob Bennett, has earned a reputation nationally for taking
on big corporations who sale unsafe products to consumers. And with jury
verdicts in ATV cases as high as $30 million, Mr. Bennett has become one of
the ATV industry’s most feared adversaries. Mr. Bennett’s firm, the Bennett
Law Firm is based in Houston Texas, but Mr. Bennett has worked with other
attorney across the county trying defective ATV injury case. In the current
suit, Mr. Bennett worked with Kentucky lawyers, Robert Sanders, of Sanders,
Associates, and Jeff Roberts, of Jones and
Roberts.
