             Regarding Legal Representation In The Following Matter:

We welcome the opportunity of working with you on your file and seeing a successful resolution in your case involving the above-named grievance matter with the State Bar of Texas.  You must keep in mind that any potential litigation or grievance hearing may be difficult and the present atmosphere of ill will toward attorneys makes it even more difficult.  Nevertheless, we hope to reach a satisfactory result for you.  You will find helpful information about your legal problem on our website at:  www.bennettlawfirm.com.

As we undertake your representation, we make the following promises:

1.                      1.        We promise to return your phone calls as promptly as possible 
                              – usually within 24  hours.

2.         We promise to send you copies of all documents we create or receive.

3.         We promise to keep you fully informed of all progress made in this matter.

4.         We promise to represent you in the way we would want to be represented.

5.         We promise to give you a fair and accurate accounting of all services and costs.

6.         We promise to manage your case so as to minimize your expenses, consistent with giving you the finest legal representation we can give you.

There will be times when you will not be able to reach me on the phone, but through our 24-hour answering service and e-mail (bbennett@bennettlawfirm.com), you can leave a message with my office or the paralegal assigned to your case.  My personal mobile number is (832) 566-1490.  Unless we hear that there is a problem concerning our representation, we will assume that what we are doing is meeting with your approval.  At any time, we welcome you bringing to our attention that you are not satisfied with anything we are doing.  This should be done in writing or by e-mail as noted in our employment contract.

As we commence this relationship, we ask you also to commit to help us handle your case by returning our telephone calls within 24-hours; to be available to support our work for you; to tell the truth and nothing but the truth; to provide whatever documents we require; and that you support our activities on your behalf so that we may reach a successful conclusion. 

Enclosed is a copy of The Bennett Law Firm Attorney Retainer Agreement and State Bar release.  Also enclosed is a release to be completed by you and returned to us so that we may obtain a copy of your disciplinary records and a letter of good standing from the State Bar.  Please let me know if you have any questions about any of the matters raised in this letter.  I look forward to working with you.  We have requested a $5,000.00 retainer to commence work on your file.
